RAMON DESAGE
As a youth, Mr. Ramon Desage was fortunate to have been born into a prestigious family, the son of a prominent doctor. He spent much of his youth living both in Lebanon and Europe. During this time, he formed a strong interest in learning and working with multiple cultures, which laid the foundation for Mr. Desage's future endeavors.
A pivotal educational diversion for Desage was choosing to leave his native country of Lebanon and attend The University of Paul Sabatier and Sorbonne. He graduated with both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Political Science and Economics. This gave him the academic background to pursue a career working for UNESCO, which has as its mission to promote universal and international respect and peace among nations.
Mr. Desage was a Cultural Attache for UNESCO, acting as a diplomat with responsibility for promoting the culture of his homeland. This job served him well, as he was able to connect with many of the French aristocracy, whereby he learned how to develop and cultivate highly effective and influential relationships. This was a key position with UNESCO that ultimately helped shape his future career.
Another seemingly disparate diversion for Desage was his move from France to the United States, specifically to Detroit, Michigan. It was Mr. Desage's entrepreneurial spirit which led him here and eventually motivated him to put up roots in Las Vegas. The serendipitous gambling trip to Las Vegas was the foundation for his eventual entry into the service industry.
While working throughout the hotel and casino networks, Mr. Desage realized that there was a dearth of quality services and products supporting this industry. He decided to seize this opportunity and began to offer luxury gift items and amenities to hotel guests.
The diversions from which Desage navigated after leaving his native country have surely been auspcious for him. They are at the core of his company's success in the luxury product line that spans across the country and across the travel industry.
